New York welcomes its first Menswear Week

After Fashion Weeks in London, Milan and Paris, and Pitti Uomo in Florence, New York is preparing for its first ever Menswear Week. Designers including Tommy Hilfiger, Michael Kors and Thom Browne will show alongside young US-based designers, in Soho, July 13 to 16.
New York welcomes its first Menswear Week

Up until now, US-based menswear designers borrowed the European runways to show their collections, in London, Florence, Milan and Paris. All that is set to change however, as New York welcomes its first Menswear Week, July 13 to 16. Skylight Clarkson Square in Soho will see labels like Tommy Hilfiger, Calvin Klein Collection, Rag & Bone and Public School show alongside new fashion talent, during three days of presentations, shows and menswear events sponsored by Amazon. The Weeks will become a fixture on the fashion calendar, held twice a year to give visibility to young designers and meet the demands of a menswear market that is growing rapidly.
